Beirut International Airport
Awarded as the second best international airport in the Middle East by the famous London-based airline and airport quality ranking firm Skytrax, Beirut International Airport has been renamed into Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport, in honor of the late prime minister Rafic Hariri, last June 22, 2005.The airport houses the national carrier Middle East Airlines and had an estimated 3,334,710 passengers last 2004 alone and services major airline worldwide.
