Aqaba Airport
Aqaba Airport is also known as the King Hussein International Airport. It is located within the industrial city of Aqaba, in Jordan. Approximately 24 kilometers from this airport are three countries, namely Israel, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Due to the very good weather condition in the area, this airport is usually open to different aircrafts, despite it having a single runway with category 1 instrument landing system. The airport has a single terminal building with one baggage carousel and one departure gate.

Regular flights from this airport is through Royal Jordanian, it comes from Amman, which is only about 45 minutes travel. Around 10 flights are operated weekly to accommodate passengers. There are instances when additional flights are scheduled to accommodate the passengers from cruise ships.

Due to the increasing number of passengers every year, additional terminal buildings are developed to accommodate all passengers traveling through Aqaba Airport.

Transport and Facilities
Aqaba Airport can accommodate 1,000,000 passengers annually. It has several amenities like 200 short term parking spaces and VIP lounges to accommodate its visitors. In addition, there are also several establishments like cafeterias, gift shops, Duty Free Shop, banks and post office.
