Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport
It was formerly known as Łódź-Lublinek Airport, but today it is more popular as Łódź Władysław Reymont Airport. It was named after Władysław Reymont, a Nobel Prize Literature winner in 1924.

This is a public regional airport which is found 6 kilometers southwest from the Łódź city. It was initially opened in September 13, 1925 and from then on has undergone several upgrades to accommodate low cost airlines and to provide cheap flights to passengers as well.

There are two terminals on this airport. Terminal 1 hosts flights for Jet Air going to Bydgoszcz while Terminal 2 is for Ryanair going to Dublin, Edinburg, London-Stansted, Liverpool and East Midlands; Sun d’Or International Airlines going to Tel-Aviv, Volare Airlines to Milan-Malpensa and Jet Air going to Berlin and Copenhagen.

Transportation and Facilities
Going to and from the airport can be made by taxi, bus, train and car. With the convenient location of the airport, it is very easy and fast to reach it. It is only around 10 minutes from Piotrkowska going to the airport. From the airport, you can take the taxi, found outside the terminal that will bring you to the city proper. There are also several public buses that you can take. Check on the schedule of the trips from the information center. Public buses uses only polish signage so make sure that you are aware of where you are going.
